WPLN-FM 90.3 FM is a radio station in Nashville, Tennessee. WPLN-FM 90.3 FM is a National Public Radio. WPLN-FM broadcasts various classical music programming. WPLN provides comprehensive classical music programming, combining original productions and distinctive specialty programs.
The station has studios on Mainstream Drive north of downtown Nashville, studios which is considered one of the finest radio studios in the U.S. In 2006, WPLN-FM started broadcasting a high-definition digital signal, with a simulcast of the FM on the first channel, and a new station on the second channel. WPLN-FM was one of only several non-commercial FM licenses held by a public library system in the U.S.
