WITF 89.5 FM is based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.WITF-FM is a public radio station, it is based at the WITF Public Media Center in Swatara Township. WITF began broadcasting in 1971. WITF 89.5 broadcasts reaches to 17 counties in central Pennsylvania. All classical music is locally selected and presented from 9 a.m. to 3 p. m. and 7 p. m. to 9 p. m. WITF‘s broadcast schedule includes locally produced and hosted classical music programming, interviews, and information about music occurring in Harrisburg and the surrounding region. It primarily features local hosts Cary Burkett, John N. Clare, and Dick Strawser.
