2MBS-FM began broadcasting on 1 February 1975, the station have now been on air for over 30 years. 2MBS-FM 102.5 is operated by volunteers, along with a small staff, they give their time and passion to the station, delivering fine music to listeners 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
2MBS primarily (80%) features classical and jazz music. The most popular programme for last year is “Evensong”, a weekly programme of English sacred music in the Anglican tradition.
