began broadcasting classical and jazz music on the 1st of July 1975 in Melbourne, Australia.
It was the first FM radio station in Victoria. 3MBS broadcasts music to listeners 24-7 all year round. 3MBS is not a goverment supported radio station, it has a small team of staff and 200 dedicated volunteers. The main aim of 3MBS radio station is to be premier broadcaster and supporter of classical music experiences in Victoria.
