KPBX 91.1 FM is a public radio station serving Spokane, Washington. Today, the station broadcasts a mix of NPR news, classical music and jazz. For example, in the program “Guitar Hour” classical guitarist Leon Atkinson joins Verne Windham in the KPBX studio on Thursday at 11am for an hour and they transmit live and recorded music. “Performance Today” is hosted by Fred Child and shows NPR’s classical music magazine, featuring modern performances of classicial works.
