BYU Radio is a radio station, located in Provo, Utah. BYU Radio is a sister station to BYU Television and came to the Brigham Young University (BYU) in 2002. BYU Radio reaches a large audience interested in the best LDS (the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) and BYU-centered audio programming. Today the network’s library of BYU contains thousands of hours of lectures, conferences, and campus devotionals on a variety of subjects and certainly a unique mix of peaceful and uplifting music. The station also broadcasts a wide variety of live broadcasts, including BYU Sports and concerts from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, BYU arts groups’ performances, Concerts from BYU School of Music. One of the examples of unique programs produced in its own studio is Rising Generation. Rising Generation is a one-hour program full of music especially written to uplift and entertain young adults and teens. In this program the listeners can hear favorite LDS composers in special BYU Radio interviews. Rising Generation airs on BYU Radio from 4-5 p.m. Mountain Time.
The station is available on Dish Network, the Internet, selected cable systems throughout the United States, and via satellite.
