KAMU-FM 90.9 FM located on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
KAMU-FM 90.9 FM is a public radio station, which is owned and operated by the university. In 2007, it became HD Radio station. It broadcasts 24 hours a day, in which 35 hours of local content each week. KAMU-FM is an affiliate of National Public Radio (NPR), Public Radio International (PRI), and American Public Media (APM). KAMU broadcasts news, classical music, jazz, international music. KAMU brings listeners programs such as Performance Today, Pipedreams, Classical Guitar Alive, and local programs, Barbershop Harmony Time, Brazos Valley Concert Series. Barbershop Harmony Time is broadcasted on Saturday 12:30pm – 1:00pm. It is locally produced program hosted by Dennis Driscoll, Associate Professor Emeritus in Atmospheric Sciences at Texas A&M University. Barbershop Harmony Time presents unique recordings of a cappella singing of the very finest quartets and choruses, both men’s and women’s from the United States and around the world.
